Chaos

Waves crash up the shore
Wipe my steps, soak my shoes,
Bend before the tide’s roar
Or else the Tyrant runs loose.

All footsteps are swept
And I stand broken, alone,
Soundlessly, confusion has crept
And my cover is finally blown.

An endless loop,
I’m trying to break free
I was lured to stoop
It’s your time to bend the knee.

I rise at the dalliance of the sun and sea
A ladder to climb, chaos is a mystery.
