Goodbye

Goodbye, you said when we last met,
Little did I know that this would happen at such a beautiful sunset.
When I first saw you, I knew how it would end,
Beautiful and painful, full of memories and regret.
But now that it has, I wonder to myself,
What would it be if we had never met?
But then I thought, how could I know you,
If I barely know myself.
But now everything is left behind.
With just me collecting memories we made together in my mind.
