December 19 (Blue December)

The baby was small, 3,3 pounds, not more
They took him right away, the room is called NICU they said
It was afternoon, the mama was okay for the day
Her 2 daughters came and stayed with her and she’s okay,
2 and 4 years old baby girls, they’ve longed to see their brother, but they can wait
At night, she didn’t open her eyes
Her husband went pale, the doctor came
“She went into a coma”, doctor said
So the baby in the NICU, the mama in a coma, daughters cried, the husband stared at her closed eyes
“Wake up” he whispered, “I beg you, wake up my dear.”

Morning came, nothing changed,
So the baby in the NICU, the mama in a coma, daughters cried, the husband stared at her closed eyes, no words, all hopes in his heart, and monologues in his head
Day passed, and at night, there was a long beep
The baby was in the NICU, daughters were asleep at home with their grandma, husband cried, she’s gone

A woman left this world this December,
two little girls will keep crying for I don’t know how long, they’ll keep calling their mama,
a baby boy in the NICU, still struggling to live, he will never see his mama, he doesn’t know, he’s struggling to live,
and a man, his lifeless eyes, his heart broken, his arms hugging his daughters

dear December, why so many tears

(The baby is still in NICU as I post this, his condition is not well, please pray for him)

My name is Zy.I write about many things actually. But pain has been the biggest muse for me. So there’re more of sad words than the happy ones in my page.I hope some people find their own feeling written there, like I do in some other’s words. My page is perilangitbiru.wordpress.com, everyone is welcomed.
