Oh, I have plans for this. I have dreams about this. I have a to also accept the harsh reality that it might never come true but I am not here to be realistic.
One of my big “grown up” wishes is to own an apartment in Zagreb so I don’t have to rent anymore and I might already have a whole pinterest board dedicated to the interior design of the real estate I cannot afford to buy in this economy.
I want it to have one bedroom, kitchen with a dinning room, living room, bathroom, balcony and an office/library.
I would want to have color in my living space because I am not a fan of gray and white aesthetic and of rooms that just look kind of sterile and monotone. When it comes to my library/office, I want it to be a bit on the dark academia side but to also make any visitors question if there might be mystical beings hiding under the furniture or if the bookshelf hides a passageway into a secret new world. It has to be kind of magical and kind of dark and mystical. I know it sounds ridiculous but that’s what I want.
Maybe someday I will make enough money to actually afford it. Or the housing market might crash.
I am done with my daydreaming now, I am going back to reality.
