I have, as far back as I can remember, always had the habit of eating breakfast in the morning even though no one in my family did it. I regularly wake up earlier to eat something and even when I have to go out of my house extra early, I will always have something ready to munch on before I leave.
I cannot explain how much joy eating breakfast brings me. Also, breakfast foods are the best foods and everything can be a breakfast food if you know how to push it into your morning routine. Before I really enjoyed sweet breakfasts, it was often oatmeal with fruit and chocolate but in the past two years I switched to high-protein breakfast because it keeps me full for longer and gives me more energy in the morning.
I think that the reason why I like breakfast is also the fact that I am a morning person. My internal alarm clock is very, very strong and doesn’t care how much sleep I get. I got back home yesterday around 11 and went to sleep close to midnight and I still woke up without an alarm before 6.
