You broke through my barriers
under the promise
that you will keep me safe
Now my house has no walls
and the cold is creeping in.
As I walk through the debris
Step over the parts you stripped off of me
with your bare hands
all I can think about is how it was
and I hate myself for that.
Don’t forget that my first novel is available on Amazon: Little Rebellion
Also you can get my poetry books: Rehab and Identity crisis
Poem #365. Nice!
Now there’s a poem-a-day-for-a-year. Except it’s a leap year. In which case, sucks to be you
