There’s nothing like a prompt like this to remind you that you got a bit old and maybe a bit boring, but in the words of Chandler Bing: “I’m 29 years old, damnit! And I want to sit in a comfortable chair, and watch television and go to bed at a reasonable hour!”
I am not 29 yet, but I am on my way there. Here are some things I like to do for fun:
1.Theatre – love to watch a good play
2.Reading – love to read a good book
3.Writing – I don’t feel the need to explain this.
4.Travel – whenever I can and as often as I can
5.Cooking – my new hobby, I am getting better at it
My fun activites used to involve going out, partying etc., but my frontal lobe has fully developed and I have a bed time now. I also have an internal alarm clock that loves to wake me up at 6 every day, including weekends. I have fully embraced the fact that I am a morning person and I no longer try to change that or force myself to sleep longer. It only makes me feel bad and tired.
I do miss my old hobbies and fun activites and I especially miss having the energy to party all night and then wake up in the morning and go to class and take exams, but there is a certain beauty in enjoying the quiet, easy things in life.
Love,
Luna
Don’t forget that my first novel is available on Amazon: Little Rebellion
