Pure discipline

Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.

I am surprisingly disciplined when it comes to my daily to-do list. I usually write down what I have to do and if I don’t do a certain task that day, it’s usually because I postponed it for a different day because it work better for me.

The only thing that varies is the quality of the work I put in. For example, I put down “writing” as a daily task, which means that I want to work on my book, and some days I will write several pages and others I will only have strength and inspiration to review written chapters and my outline.

When it comes to my general to-do list, a place where I failed severely in the last few months was my savings. I wouldn’t say that I was reckless with my spending. A lot of things just kind of came one after the other and I finished every month with a minus in front of my bank balance but I got out of it this month and I am working on my financial plan. Booking a vacation to Spain in April has been a really strong motivator for me to start saving more again. I cannot wait to get on a plane.

My advice is: get a planner, be realistic, prioritize what’s important and always make sure to find time for yourself.

Luna
