Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.
I wrote today in my post about the fact that I went to Portugal. The reason behind it was the concert of Luan Santana, a Brazilian singer who I am absolutely obsessed with and it’s not only the last thing, but it’s pretty much the only thing I got genuinely excited about this year.
This year has been one thing on top of the other. I have been losing on all fronts. My health has been horrible and now that I got better it turned out I developed lactose intolerance as a response to everything that has happened. My body got significantly weaker because of it all and I am still working on getting back on track. There has been a lot of private issues in my life as well as work issues. I have had moments this year when I just wanted to scream into a pillow but I didn’t even have strength to do that.
In all of that, I had the 23rd of August, which was Luan’s concert. His music keeps me going, it makes me happy, it helps me get through difficult moments and it meant a lot to me to see him live this year. It was the first time I’ve ever seen him live and I will absolutely do it again.
