If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?
It would not be enough and that is the biggest problem with me. I will always find something to do and I will never have time for anything. I think that having to sleep is very beneficial for me because it stops me from constantly looking for something to do. I think that my only time when I truly, consciously decide to rest is when I am drinking my tea, especially on weekend mornings.
But let’s put my brain that never rests to the side, and talk about what I would do if I didn’t have to sleep. I think that I would manage to organize my life better and I would absolutely use that time at night for writing. Back in the day, when I was a teen and during university days, I would often write during the night but now that I have a sleep schedule in order to function, that is no longer an option.
I don’t know why the night always inspired me to work, I guess it’s because of the peace and quiet it provides. Now, I have issues writing during the evening or the night because my eyes are already so exhausted from staring at a screen for 8 hours.
I think I would also dedicate more time to being outside. During the weekend, it’s not such big of an issue but during the working week, I spend very little time outside. Mostly, my time outside consists of me going or coming from work, running and going to my belly dance practice. Oooooh, I would also go to belly dance practice more often (now I go only once a week).
There are several other thing I could think of doing, but I need to stop somewhere so that this post isn’t exhaustingly too long.
Love,
Luna
