sometimes
tuning out
into the make-believe
the stories of others
forsakes the tragedy
of our own
soothes our reality
often
the conversations
in our heads
skews our perception
alters
the substantiality
changes our reality
mostly
engaging with people
immersing ourselves
in nature
grounds us
makes our world whole
defines our reality
