She Wore A Scarf To Hide Her Scars

She walked the dull road with a heavy heart
With the scars of harrowing past
None knew this mysterious lady
A lunatic, some believed
Distress look and trembling feet
Made them question her sanity
To avoid those uninvited stares,
She wore a scarf to hide her scars
And put a curvy smile with a flattery speech
But her eyes carried some unspoken truth,
A bane truth dragging her into disrepute
For her, dark nights were like a body to the soul
The only time she could be her,
Letting her fragile self to be moulded
And her emotions to purge
Again,
She sat there all alone with the thoughts of her horrific past
As she decided to write a death note,
A strange string of hope pulled her hand
Like any other night,
She chose life over remorse
Again the very next day,
To avoid those uninvited stares,
She wore a scarf to hide her scars
