Thoughts that intrude
Fantasies that delude
Are all but a prelude
To when eyes meet
Lips greet
In discreet
Words suppressed
Desire repressed
Finally confessed
But relief is short
The story has to abort
It is life’s retort
For in a dream
Real as it may seem
Illusion is the theme.
