I have a poetry book

I did it people. I decided to finally publish my first poetry book!

The reason why this took so long is because I never wanted to publish a poetry book because I publish all my works here so it seemed redundant. I wanted my first book to be a novel, but I don’t think that will happen any time soon so I decided to test the waters by compiling my works into a poetry book.

For those of you who have been on my blog for a while, I would just like to let you know that a lot of the poems in the book are from my blog and some are new unpublished poems. Now that’s out of the way, let me tell you what’s it all about.

Rehab is actually a love story told through poetry, from the beginning to the breakup, rebounds, getting back together and healing. The book is based on my own experiences with love, breakups and the process of healing.

You can get the book on Amazon, I used Kindle Direct Publishing to do this. I thought about using Barnes&Noble as well, but the thing is I live in Croatia and they don’t really have it offered for vendor registration. I suppose that might be a problem with a lot of these self-publishing platforms.

Anyway, the link is here: Rehab

I hope you will like it and thank you very much for supporting me!

Love,

Luna

  1. It may help you to create a Goodreads profile and join their authors program: https://www.goodreads.com/author/program. And start networking that way too, I guess.

    1. Great advice, I haven’t thought about that. Thank you!

  2. Congratulations 👏

      1. Great work! An epic journey – beautifully rendered, yet also comes down like a hammer driving in nails of brutal honesty. Bravo for having the guts to put it out there for all to see. Looking forward to the next one.

  15. Well done for getting your book out there, Luna – story telling through poetry always intrigues me – I’ll be reading your book for sure. All the best. Eric.

  16. Congratulations 🎊 Luna!

  17. Best wishes to you

  18. Wonderful congratulations! Looking forward to many more reading your posts.

  19. The best part of self-publishing is the power to create something you can hold in your hands, not unlike the way one holds a newborn, and know that what you’ve created is free of the crass profiteering of publishers whose minions alter and delete and transform your creation into something different from what you’ve intended. Of course, if your sole purpose for writing is to make money, succumbing to the bottom line uncaring capitalists is something to consider, along with the fact that of the 2.6 million titles offered online in 2020, ~2.5 million of them sold between 0 and 1,000 copies. Happiness advice? I think you may be following it: first and foremost, write for the sheer joy of it!😊

  20. Congratulations blessings

  23. * to get more of such content

  24. Congratulations. May you never run dry of the will power to pen your thoughts and to show your self

  25. I just bought the book at 2.99 dollars, such a talented poet you are Luna.

I loved that paragraph where you say
” I decided to believe love is enough
I will hold you with both hands and
We’ll call this place a home
In a sea of my sad songs I’ll write you
    One filled with colors…”

This part literally got me all nostalgic, I’ll definitely pay to get such content.

    Amazing work !

  26. Congratulations!!
