It’s never to late for you to walk back
into my life.
The doors are opened, unlocked all the time.
I will keep a light on,
you know your way to my arms.
I am not scared of being labeled desperate
but I am scared of a future void of your embrace.
Too young to play games, I’ll say what’s on my mind.
Too old to be played, but I fall for you every time.
Do you still think about how it was?
Do the memories haunt you when you close your eyes?
Did you keep the drawer with my stuff
in case I come back for another night?
