The Boy Who Lived

Hello everyone,

In my last video where I made pancakes, I expressed the desire to start a series on my channel dedicated to comparing books and movies that were based on them. I really enjoyed making my Shadow and Bone video and that’s where the idea came from.

The new video is already up on the channel: https://youtu.be/XuHiW8iJqDw

The reason why I am starting with this so late is because I had the idea to revisit some of the shows I loved as a child or a teenager and compare them to their respective books and the first one that came to mind was The Vampire Diaries. I was absolutely obsessed with it when I was a teenager, even had pictures of Damon on my high school locker. What I did not expect was that the show was not at all similar to the books and that the books are… well not the best. I am going to leave the commentary at that.

I spent a lot of time reading for a video I will never make so I wanted to be sure that the next time I start reading a whole series of books to make a video, I actually liked it and that’s how I came to the idea of Harry Potter. I loved the books and the movies when I was younger, I still enjoy them today so I knew that this cannot be a miss. I hope you will like the video, let me know if you were a Potter fan and also, if you have some movies based on books you would like me to comment on leave them down in the comments!

P.S. sorry about my voice, I was still a bit ill when I did the audio. It will be better next time!

Love,
Luna
