She whispers.
I am walking on a tightrope
The light is beautiful, the flowers are divine
I can hear the birds and the waterfalls
but I also want to see what’s hiding in the dark
Just take a step into the shadows
To see what’s it like
You can always cross to the other side
The little demon smiles
There are cheap thrills
an escape from reality
a sedative for the pain
endless daydreams
and a promise you will forget
The little demon stretches out her hand.
The hardest battle I fight is against myself.
