The two were lowering their guards when they realized they had a common enemy. Nox didn’t have much on Rebirth and this seemed like the first source of information for him. He started to lower his guard a bit and his posture changed.
“You scared the shit out of me.”
“If you put a target on someone’s back in this city, it means you will soon have a target on yours. Stanhill is not for the easily scared. But I can help you there if you help me. James Lennox,” he said.
