I am alive and well. Laryngitis has finally left the building and my voice is almost completely back to normal. This weekend was a long weekend in Croatia because we had a bank holiday on Monday and my boyfriend suprised me with a mini-trip to Plitvice, which are a national park and we spent a day there and then the next day when we were heading back we also stopped at Rastoke to check it out. It was such a fun and active trip. We walked, I think, close to 9 km in Plitvice and then after lunch we went to the hotel and spent some time resting and in the spa area.
Rastoke were really beautiful as well. I loved reading the little info charts about the millers in the past and how life functioned back in the day.
All in all, it was a sweet little adventure and here are some pics. I didn’t take many pictures because it was a bit cold and my hands were mostly in my pockets
