I don’t have a favorite place that I have visited and I think that’s because I haven’t cleared my top tier travel bucketlist.
But I do have many things that I enjoyed in the countries and cities I visited so far. For example, Malta takes the award for my favorite trip. I was there for a long weekend with my boyfriend and it was one of our more active vacations. We decided to use up every single second of our trip to see everything. Malta is well connected with buses so we were able to travel anywhere from Valletta.
My favorite trips food-wise were Italy and Belgium. I will not elaborate on Italy because I don’t think I need to. When it comes to Belgium, I have a sweet tooth and walking around cities that smell like chocolate is a dream come true for me. We went into one chocolate shop where you could buy chocolate per grams and I was filling up my bag and my boyfriend came up to me to tell me that it will probably get squished on our way home. I wasn’t buying it as a gift, I was getting it for myself and I spent the rest of our tour of Bruges trying all the chocolates I bought. Also, Bruges has a Hogwarts-vibe to it which I enjoyed being a big fan of Harry Potter. One thing that was really bad in Belgium was the weather. It was raining and very cold during our whole trip but we made the best of it.
When it comes to my summer vacations, they are very toned down because I am traveling to be in a horizontal position in different beaches and eat good food, but that still has it’s own magic and charm. Sometimes, you just need to have a lazy vacation to fill your batteries.
Hopefully in the upcoming year, I will be able to visit Portugal. That is on my top tier bucket list as number one, specifically Madeira.
What are your favorite trips?
Love,
Luna
