Poem #379

The snow was falling on the ground
Such an idyllic sight
Time for children to play and adults to join
But instead we got 9 to life.

We are living in our little snow globes
isolated with walls and glass
glued to our screens
running the same path day and night
while we always have a feeling
somebody is watching us.

Maybe they do us a favor and
shake the snow globe
to awake us from this stupor
and make us realize that we are trapped
in a beautiful orb where we always see fall
that same snow.

Don’t forget that my first novel is available on Amazon: Little Rebellion
Also you can get my poetry books: Rehab and Identity crisis

  1. Beautiful metaphor!…; -)

  2. I love the imagery of the snow globe.
