My ego and my rationale
started overlapping in my head
Can the right call be made
to the wrong number
Maybe my ego had to make it all look right
explain away every omen
and paint green every sign
because it couldn’t accept
that I was wrong.

Where did you go wrong?
When did you become weak?
Open up your eyes!
