I talked in my last post about the fact that I was going to make my first chocolate chip cookies. I ended up taking a slightly different route from the classic recipe and I made white chocolate and lemon cookies. Luckily for me, they turned out great. The caloric value of one of these could feed a small village, but I am turning a blind eye to that.
I was expecting this to be more difficult than it was (based off what I’ve seen on TikTok) but it’s actually kind of easy to do. The only thing that was freaking me out was the fact that they looked raw when they came out of the oven, but they ended up setting while they were cooling on the plate.

I think that for my first time as a baker, I did a decent job and now, of course, my newly found baking ego will inflate and the next thing I’ll try to do will be a ridiculously difficult recipe. Stay tuned for that.
