Tears

Down, down they trickle
Slow, slowly they fall
On a face once gloomy
On a face once merry
Tears are fears that no one hears
Tears are promises that someone breaks
Tears are wounds only time can heal
Tears are smiles that are worthwhile
Tears are strengths from Above.

I am Vilma Sison (Mang) from the Philippines. Your mom for all seasons! I have two children and a husband to keep my days busy. Although I don’t consider my self a poet, some musings led me to write a few. They may be short but they depict what I have feeling at the moment I am writing them.
