My boyfriend left me with an unfortunate assignment. I have to organize our trip to Malta because he has no time to do so because he has to study. The problem is that I have no experience traveling abroad, he does and also I am not really as responsible as he is. I am more of que será, será type of person.
It’s going so well that he had to give me a list of things I have to check and investigating in regards to entering Malta during Covid and everything else. I am slowly going through the list and checking off boxes.
I am an organized person when we are talking about my job or my blog but organizing a whole trip is not really my cup of tea. I have been spending my morning reading safety measurements, do we need passports or just IDs etc. I am looking forward to it but it is just ugh. And I still have to check how we will get there, get us plane tickets and then find a hotel, airbnb or a bench we can sleep on.
Also, Malta is one of the places offering money rewards to tourists. I think that we have to book a 3, 4 or 5 star hotel to get some money because we came and the stay has to be longer than three nights. I will have to put my math hat on and calculate is it worth it going to a 3 star hotel to get that money or would it be more affordable to be in an airbnb.
I don’t even want to think about organizing the trip. We need to get to Trieste and then we will fly to Malta with Ryanair. I have never been on a plane so this will be a fun experience.
The problem is that investigating all of this and looking at the beautiful pictures of Malta is creating this huge desire in me to quit my job and go and travel the world. Don’t tell me I can do it, because I will.
I am going back to my travel planning. Hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday!
Sending love and positive vibes,
Luna

wish you luck and hope you will organise well, giving you new experience of learning and excitement. Have a nice trip and share youe experience
You are too hard on yourself, Luna. Don’t think of it as organising the whole trip, break it up into do-able tasks and you will soon have it done. Then you can sit back and enjoy the new experience of flying and the holiday in general. Try to focus your mind on the present moment and drink it all in and push all.other thoughts from your mind! I look forward to reading all about it. 🙂
