Suited

Why do all the colors seem muted?
Truthfully, I really don’t want to know
There are great things of being alone
I know- it’s not where my heart belongs
Some things are a mistake to make happen
On some days I am great with life
But in others I feel something missing
Between all the grey lines, touching silence
That even musical notes can’t help
The wrong memories can breathe haunting
And then there’s nothing like being reminded
Of a lost love that once lived and died
For seemingly all the wrong reasons
Now all I want is a love … reasonably right

  1. Beautiful and deep. I can completely relate to this internal emotional experience and have been there many times.

  2. Nice. Quite relatable.
