I had a whole plan worked out for this weekend. The last two weekends during the holidays I was very social, very active and this weekend I wanted to get back to routine and just chill. But not in this way.
I had planned to clean my apartment, do the laundry, work on my book but instead I have been dragging my feet around the apartment, dying on the couch and watching videos on YT because my head is going to fucking explode. The weather is changing in Croatia and I, as a person who suffers with meteoropathy, want to die. I am moody, angry, my head hurts, I have no will to do anything. It has come to the point where my appetite is gone because everything looks awful to me and I couldn’t be forced to cook even if someone offered me money to do it.
It sucks on so many different levels and this is going to go on for the entire week. During Christmas it was literally 13 degrees outside and now it’s going to go below zero. What in the climate change….
Maybe it will get better tomorrow or maybe I will just start having ibuprofen for breakfast. I got to go now, my food order is here because I decided to force myself to eat something so I don’t wither away.
If anyone has a good show to recommend to binge watch since I won’t be doing anything today, drop it in the comments.
Hope your Saturday is better!
Love,
Luna

Meteoropathy! I learned a new word. I hope you feel better soon. I’m nearly done watching Wentworth on Netflix. It’s a bit dark but I’ve liked it. I also need a new suggestion. I plan to watch the original Aquaman this week sometime but that’s as far as I’ve gotten. I just found out that my already short schedule this week has been further shortened (now at 19 hours) so I’ll have a lot of free time.
I learned that as well! Thank You Luna!
I just googled the show and it seems interesting. I ended up watching Berlin on Netflix because I really liked Money Heist. I rarely use streaming services so whenever I want to find something to watch, I either give up after 15 minutes of scrolling or just rewatch some show I know I like.
Truly sucks to be in one of those days. I left my garden unattended, incinerated by the scorching sun last month. December felt more like summer here in Cebu. Now I have to revive the garden. Been watching a lot of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese series lately that I might have spoken in different tongues in one of my dreams. I also followed a bit of the Shameless series on Netflix. Hope you feel better soon, Luna. 💜
I think that around two years ago, my boyfriend and me really got into Shameless and binge watched every weekend. I honestly don’t remember why I stopped watching, maybe I should get back to it. These weather changes are really exhausting sometimes and honestly, I am done with winter. Christmas is over and I am ready to suffer through my allergies in the spring 😅
Feel better, Luna. Blessings and anti allergies to you 💜
I have been there too many times to count. I’m sorry you feel out of whack.. I hope you find your zen soon <3
P.S I don't know if you remember me, we chatted on instagram a few years ago.. I fell off of writing and my blog, but I am working on getting back into it and out of my comfort zone. Im was glad to see you still here thriving and still posting on youtube(that's something that's been heavy on my heart to start documenting my day to day, but I'm nervous!). I will definitely have to become a subscriber! My only regret is i wasn't sooner!! Anyways, I admire you. You inspire me to write and blog. Thank you.
Feel better soon.
<3 Brittany
I am glad to hear you are returning to blogging. I had a bit of a hiatus and posted very little for two years and just got back into it around the end of the year and it’s like riding a bike, you never forget it. Regarding YT, the first step is always the hardest but after that it gets better and it’s really interesting because there’s a lot to learn about editing and everything else. If you start your YT channel, make sure to let me know so I can subscribe!
Ricky Gearvis – After Life
I totally get those kinds of days…I’ve experienced plenty this winter due to lots of personal stuff and gloomy, cold weather. I can’t imagine weather at 13 degrees. I try to remind myself that this too will pass, which sometimes helps and other times, I need more. I listen to A LOT of music. Music seems to be my one and constant companion when life feels shitty. As far as Netflix series, I’m also looking for something good. I liked Gilmore Girls. It’s kinda dated, but it was kind of a low stress series. May be for old folks like me though 🙂
Funnily enough, I never watched the Gilmore Girls but I was always interested in it because of the strong fanbase it has. I ended up watching Berlin on Netflix because I am a fan of the original show so that seemed like a good choice for me.
Hey, just sending you positive thoughts that you’ll feel better soon; winter seems to sap my strength too, so on that level I relate. In the summer I cancelled the last of my streaming services so I’d not be tempted by them and instead do other more important things, but now in the winter I rather regret that as it’s mostly me, music, and books – not to demean their company, but sometimes a person just wants to immerse herself in a good binge-worthy show, right? I’ll let you know if I hear of an especially good one. Chin up!
Good for you! I rarely watch anything on Netflix or HBO but I still have my subscriptions. I did the same thing with Tik Tok actually, I was addicted to that app, it took so much of my time and then I just deinstalled it and it was honestly the best thing I did for myself.
Hi Luna, how are you feeling? Me too with tik tok! And, facebook, and instagram … it was all just Too Much. Have a good week, I hope the weather will cooperate – lots of wishes, prayers, and positive thoughts for that! 🤗
Sorry to hear you are feeling so miserable. I hope you feel better soon!
I have sinus issues and the weather messes with me some, but not to that degree. Sorry you’re going through this.
Thank you, I hope your sinuses get better soon!
Thanks much! I’m not too bad today. I think the air pressure change with the snow actually helped me out a bit.
I’m both so sorry to know you feel this way and also grateful for letting me know I’m not alone with that weather sensitivity thing… I hope you’ll feel better very soon, and thank you for sharing ❤
it’s always better with you in it!
That’s so sweet to hear!
I really liked the BBC detective/crime drama series Endeavor with Shaun Evans as detective Endeavor Morse (9 seasons 2012-2023, 36 episodes as only several per season) … though maybe not the cheeriest : )
Cheerier: if you haven’t seen (or feel like a re-watch) the Jane Austen-based flicks like Emma (the Gwyneth Paltrow/Jeremy Northum/Toni Collette one), and Pride and Prejudice (the Jennifer Ehle and Collin Firth one is good, but there are others, too)
Very nice
Nice 👌
Sending positive vibes your way! Weather changes can be tough.
