Hello everyone,
it’s been a while since I just came here to ramble on about everything and anything. So what have I been doing lately?
I have been running. I have been running my ass off. I already told you in some videos and posts that I applied for a half marathon and a few weeks ago I was sure that I will never be able to run that distance, but today I broke my own personal record and I ran for 15km which is about 9 miles. I just need to stay consistent and I will be ready to run that half marathon. I do still have a few months to prepare. I don’t know why I am so dedicated to this. There are exams I did not prepare for this much and my life depended on them once upon a time.
I am still struggling a bit with my slow slope into writer’s depression after publishing my novel, my therapist is still trying to work through it with me. I don’t know what it is and why it happened but it’s like the life just drained out of me after publishing that book. There’s definitely a feeling of emptiness because I was used to spending time with my characters every week, but this is bigger than that. I haven’t even told people about the book, outside of my blog and my boyfriend. It’s like I want people to read it but I also don’t, if that makes sense. Although, I did get my first written review on the book and it made me very happy:

I have also been spending a bit more time in nature. I went hiking twice, two weekends in a row and it was definitely more enjoyable now that I am in better shape and take care of my nutrition more. I am still in my slight calorie deficit and I also started posting what I eat on Tik Tok, if you’d like to give me a follow my handle is @luna.theblog.
Thanks to running and watching what I eat and how much I sleep, I managed to get through these big weather changes that have happened in Croatia. It has been a bit insane. We were literally stepping into summer, it was 30 degrees outside than in a matter of 24 hours, the temperatures dropped by 25 degrees. We went from summer to winter really fucking quick in the middle of April. According to the weather report, it should stabilize around the end of this week so fingers crossed for sunnier and warmer days.
I think that the worst part about it is that I have no idea what to wear. Also, the weather report is not always reliable because sometimes it will just begin to rain out of nowhere. I know I am going to complain when summer comes and it get’s really warm, but that is not stopping my from complaining now as well. When it comes to the weather, it’s never just right.
That’s pretty much it from me today. I am going to go and have my dinner now. I like to make these single serve pizzas for weekend dinners, I know it doesn’t look perfect but I promise you that it tastes great and has a lot of protein which is very important for me now.

Hope you have a wonderful rest of Sunday and a great week ahead!
Love,
Luna

When I finished my first novel it did feel weird and empty. I started another completely different novel straight away, one I already had in the back of my mind, but before I had finished it I started on a sequel to my first novel. I had missed my characters! Well done with the running.
Nice…hope one day you can run a marathon
Keep up the running! I just started after taking a year off due to a nagging achilles tendon. Feels great to run again.
Your pizza looks delicious. Have you recorded a pizza making video? Keep up the great work with running. That takes a lot of dedication. It sounds like you are on the right path. You will finish the half marathon in record time, just make sure to pace yourself. Running will help you with your post novel depression. That and being in nature are all great steps. Congratulations on the wonderful review. My apologies, I will read it, but haven’t yet. London weather sounds similar to the Croatia weather. Hang in there, spring is right around the corner.
The absolute best balm is to write your next story. It’s an addicting process.
“Beating my own record” is an absolutely wonderful way to view competition. We should all worry a little less about the person next to us and focus on how we improve ourselves everyday. Little by little. Constantly beating our own records.
