to protect your own interests
Doesn’t matter if the world
is swallowed by fire and ice
as long as the profits rise
We’ve given value to what
pushes the oxygen out of our lungs
Day in, day out
Brilliant minds fall on the blade of the knife
Nothing has ever brought real change
it just transferred power
from a monster who showed its teeth
to the one that still keeps them hidden
