Routine stuff

What are you doing this evening?

I had a short phase of watching Netflix in the evening. I stopped watching new shows for a long time and then my friend pushed me to watch Sandman and after that Netflix recommended Lockwood and Co to me and I’ve heard of that show when it came out, but I never watched it. I took a quick look at the trailer and figured out that the show was right up my alley. I think I like these types of Sci-Fi shows because I was a huge Potter kid once upon a time.

Well, guess what? Netflix cancelled this show after only one season that had high ratings and a fanbase because it didn’t hit the viewer threshold or whatever. When Netflix fails, it’s gonna be their own damn fault. Naturally, I got sick of starting shows I will never be able to finish so I decided to go back to reading.

What do you know, Lockwood and Co was based on a book series. There’s six of them and now I have my evening booked. I am already on the 3rd one and I love it!

My evening reading is usually preceded by a workout and my shower and skincare routine. And dinner, because I turn into a gremlin if I am hungry.

What is your evening like?

  1. Can relate to turning into a Gremlin when hungry, lol I agree Netfix is lacking lately along with Amazon Prime. I too have returned to reading, but I am on my old school Agatha Christy books that were given to me by my grandma and now I too am addicted lol. great post stay blessed

    1. My family is annoyed at how much content Prime is now sticking behind paywalls. We paid our subscription, after all.

      1. Honestly same here. I’m thinking of canceling it because it seems a waste.

  2. It’s so funny to find Netflix cancelling shows when the ones renewed don’t need to be renewed. It’s always a battle paying for a subscription. Love your evening routine

  3. Beautiful colours, warming up my heart

  4. I’m disappointed that Netflix is giving up “The Good Place.” I binge watch that show once a year.

  5. I can totally relate I watched lockwood and co the second it was released…. And it’s really depressing that Netflix cancels shows like this always
