#438 Dimensions

I left a piece of me under the starry sky
Another can be found somewhere
Near the Adriatic, on the sidewalk
There was a mistake I loved to make
I think he scattered what I gifted across the ocean

I bargained my heart in exchange for art
It would heal me and the cycle would spin on
My mind restless, my soul yearning for a home
But walls always let dust settle on the keyboard

I lived between dimensions
Give me peace and give me adventure
Break me and let me be whole
Let me drink the wine from your lips
but keep me sober

You can get your copy of my first novel on Amazon: Little Rebellion
Poetry Books: Identity CrisisRehab

  1. I love it when a couple of sentences create the whole world. When they provoke and inspire a new wide area.
