Poem #28

The sun was reflecting off the surface
off the sea and it looked so beautiful and
so calm like the universe was trying to greet us.
For a moment the troubles were gone inside the
divine light of the day.

The seagulls were flying high up over the sky,
a fisherman was standing at the dock.
You could hear the waves hitting the shore
and feel the salt on your skin and the word
felt oh, so very infinite.

Tourist in Zadar

I’m baaaaaaaaaack! Last summer I did the exact same thing and I just disappeared from Instagram and my blog but I’m back now. The reason for this is the same as last year – I was working. This year I was a waitress on an island called Premuda. It was a good experience for me but it was also exhausting. Working with people is never easy and also I worked a lot, spent a lot of time standing and walking around. All in all the job had its advantages and disadvantages.

I came back to Zadar on the 20th of this month and I’ve been trying to rest, study for my exams, get back to a better diet and working out. My friend came to Zadar for a couple of days and I did what I love to do every summer in Zadar – I behaved like a tourist. Spending days on the beach, roaming around in the evening, drinking cocktails, eating, exploring the city… It was just great!

I didn’t make a lot of pictures but here are some of them. I hope you like them and have a nice weekend! I’ll try to be more active again, I promise!

Thursday

This week was all about catching up with work on time. Every students says he will do his tasks on time and this year I’m actually trying to do it and it’s… Well boring as hell.

I had to spend 5 hours I the office for students to enroll in the new semester and it was exhausting but I made it through. Today I only had two lectures and I had a coffee and went on to have pizza with my birthday girl Gabrijela. We strolled around town for a while and then I went back home.

Today’s outfit is pretty casual. I love this jacket which I got at a sort of a vintage shop. I think it has a great print so I bought it and also it was very cheap. I paired it with my new ankle boots, a simple black skirt and jeans shirt.

This is pretty much it from me for today. Hope you are all having a wonderful week. Kisses!

Summer Festival

cocktails dj dancer dance

I just loooove the festival season! From Friday to Sunday I went to a summer festival in a town nearby. I was there with my friend Unicorn Diary Blog and Marta. I don’t have a lot of pictures to show because I just had so much fun that my phone was the last thing on my mind. For three days I just slept, ate and danced and it was awesome. Just what I needed. The bar in which I was with my friends had the street closed, the DJ was out in the open, there were dancers and everyone danced out on the street under an open sky. It was just awesome!

Now regarding my outfits – I know a lot of you are just like: “Why the f*** is she wearing booties?”
I have an explanation. I’ve been going to this festival for 4 years and one year I went wearing flats and a piece of glass got stuck in my foot. When I got home there was a blood bath in my shoe so since that year I just dread wearing flats or anything that isn’t leather to this festival. Since sandals were out of the option I went with my BCBGeneration heels that are also awesome for dancing. They just give so much support and are extremely comfortable. I decided to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts because it wasn’t really hot during the night and I’m the type of idiot that gets a cold during the summer so I had to keep myself warm.

Hope you all had a great weekend, I know I did, and let me know what’s your favorite part about the summer. Kisses!

Shoes

Not many men will understand this but I know most girls will. I’m Luna and I’m addicted to fabulous shoes. I just love looking at them, trying them on, buying them and then taking them home with me.

shoes

My mother said that if I bought all the shoes I want I would only be able to style them with bras and panties because I’ll have no money left for clothes.

Recently I purchased 3 pairs of shoes. The first ones are these sandals. They are cute, comfortable, and affordable but I actually wanted pom-pom sandals. I couldn’t find ones that fit properly so I took these. I tried to kick up my footwear color palette so they aren’t black. I mostly buy black shoes because they fit best with my clothes.

These second ones made me so happy because I was looking at them online since they came out and now I’ve finally bought them.. They are from a brand called Roberto and it’s one of my favorite shoe brands because their shoes are comfortable, beautiful, trendy and affordable.  I like them because they can be used every day and are a perfect match for casual outfits as well as more elegant ones.

The last ones are a birthday gift from my mom. She didn’t know what to get me for my 20th birthday so she just told me to pick what I want and I picked these beauties. I think that these are the most stable pair of heels I ever owned. The straps don’t cut into my skin and I can spend hours in them. I actually celebrated my birthday in them and my feet weren’t hurting at all when I got home.

So this is it (for now) and I hoped you liked this post. If you want to tell me something about your clothes or shoes addiction leave a comment and you can also share with me what is your favorite type of shoes.

Vacation

beach bar mango beach bar blue hawaiian cocktails food and wine food greeting to the sun greetings to the sun pizza received_864888096949978 sea selfie selfies sunset

From Tuesday to Friday I’ve finally had the chance to embrace the fact that I live in one of the most beautiful cities on the Croatian seaside. I’ve had my last exam on Tuesday and then my high school friend Isabella came to visit and we just enjoyed those few days in Zadar.

We’ve spent our days on the beach, sunbathing, swimming, drinking cocktails and eating. Every evening we would get ready and go out to have some dinner, drink some wine and cocktails and sit on the greetings to the sun.

I just enjoyed this few days with her because I really needed a break from life. On Friday the smart thing we should’ve done was stay in and pack my stuff because I had to empty my apartment but nooooooo. We went to the beach again, had lunch out and drank some cocktails. I’ve tried a cocktail called Liquid cocaine and I love it. Definitely drinking it again!

After running around the apartment we finally packed my stuff, placed them in the car and went home. Even in the car we had a good time because something just hit us. Was it the sun, the cocktails – I don’t know but everything was just funny. The only regret we had on the way home was not stopping at Burger King.

All in all I’ve had a great time with my friend and we will repeat this next year, for sure!
