Hello everyone,
I accomplished something that I want to share with you all. Yesterday evening, I finished my novel Little Rebellion. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I put that last dot and realized I finally did it. I finally finished a novel instead of leaving it unresolved sitting in some folder on my laptop.
I talked about this in my last video, but I gave myself until the end of May this year to finish it and now it’s middle of February and I am done. I beat my self-imposed deadline. I still have to re-read it a few times, tie up any loose ends and maybe rewrite some parts but most of it is done. I think I will have it up on Kindle soon and I am excited to hear what you all will have to say about it.
This feels like a big milestone for me because I started many, many novels and I never finish them but I made a deal with myself that I will give it my all to bring one book to it’s end and publish it.
I am fighting a lot with my own self-criticism and negative feelings about my own work. The questions already started (is it too long, is it too short, is it boring, is it incoherent, why would anyone like this) but I am trying to push through it.
