So I went for drinks with my friends last week and we talked a bit about books and shows and one of them mentioned “One Day” on Netlifx. I haven’t watched a show in ages and I decided to give it a try this weekend.
I was sure that it would be like a love story or something and it was, but the ending… I am ugly crying right now, eating chocolate and questioning everything in life. My God, One Day is difficult to watch. It’s a whole emotional roller coaster. I related a lot to Emma and to her struggle after finishing school, with her career and writing and the way her story ends and what happens with Dex. I am CRYING!
I don’t remember the last time I cried because of a show or a book and it came as a shock that something could affect me in this way.
I am going to go have a shower and continue to ugly cry there.
This show was a bit cathartic for me.

I know it isn’t funny, but I chuckled a bit. Honestly, with the state of the world every age is that age
I’ll check out One Day. It may have affected you so much, because of things you’re currently going through. Stay strong Luna and keep writing. It is food for your soul.

Hi Luna, I watched One Day on Netflix. I so wished Dex would get his act together and start commiting to something. It was really sad to see how he wasted his life away. I’m Glad Emma got a job she’s good at and her boyfriend really adores her. Thanks.
Just finished One Day. It is so unbelievably sad😭😭 My heart is breaking for Dex.
I’m glad you enjoyed the show and got so much out of it. It was recommended to me, I watched it and I just wasn’t connecting with the characters. I really didn’t care for either of them. Oh well. I had really hoped to love it. The Sun Brothers, however, was terrific. So funny!
