“Why did you leave me without telling me truth, I could’ve saved her, I would go looking for her! When did you stop looking for her? What am I supposed to do now,” I yelled at a tombstone that cannot give answers. I sat down and cried. I looked at her picture on the grave and realized how much Lucy and I resembled my grandparents. We were them and they were us and I was the last standing.
“They took everything from me,” the words from Lucy’s letter screamed in my head.
They.Took.Everything.
I no longer knew who I was because for the first time I felt a burning desire for revenge. I want to burn them all down.
