Poem #387

I lost my way of removing the burden
off my chest and I started suffocating.
I couldn’t write about it because my space was invaded.
The build-up inside of me was acidic
I ended up vomiting black ink.

All those words came rushing back
not like a wave,
more like a landslide.
You kept me silent
but I had to pay the price.
Life was a ride for you
but always a lesson for me.
