THE WEEK continues

My week from hell continues. I cannot believe that I will write this but, if everything goes according to plan, the point in time I am looking forward in Monday morning when I will make my morning tea and sit down to work from home, far away from this chaos.

So, as I explained in my having a week rant, I had a tenant who left an absolute mess behind. Everything can be cleaned and fixed, but the problem was the stench in the apartment that we simply couldn’t get rid of for the last two days. It literally burns your eyes. We checked the kitchen and barthroom and couldn’t find anything that would at all come close to being the source of that smell. Well, I have a painter in my apartment currently to fix up the walls and he had to move the furniture around to do his job and he found the source of the stench.

Socks. That motherfucker left pairs and pairs of his filthy socks stuffed between the living room couch and the wall. The socks were accompanied with used up q-tips.

Do you know what’s my problem? I think that me being rational and not living in a pigsty means that all people have the same common sense. That’s obviously not a thing. I should just assume the worst about people and treat them accordingly.

I can’t. I am going to have to bleach that apartment into oblivion, it’s like I am cleaning a crime scene. Right now, the only way that I will sleep calmly at night is by mailing all those damn socks to the company that rented the apartment.

Send good thoughts for my health, both mental and physical, this weekend.

Love,
Luna

That sounds awful and very frustrating. Sending good thoughts and hoping the weekend gives you some respite.

  2. You should take photos before cleaning up, send them to his employers and tell them you won’t be letting to their employees anymore, and that you’re going to name and shame with the pics all over social media. See if you can’t scare them into some financial compensation by sending the evidence to letting agencies and sites. Make them take responsibility for their filthy employees. 🤨

  3. The silver lining is that that slob didn’t leave bugs behind. I’m glad that your rid of him.
