Some of the things that went through my head when I read this prompt were sleep, eat better, workout, spend time with people I love etc., but all of this boils down to being able to make my own schedule.
I wish to have more freedom every day to organize my day-to-day life in the best way possible so that it supports my health, happiness and career. This is, of course, impossible because I have a job and for 8 hours 5 days a week I have to be somewhere and I have no say about it. I am not even contemplating quitting, because I need the money and I (kinda unfortunately) wasn’t raised to let anyone financially support me. I honestly think that a lot of my problems, and problems that people worldwide have, would simply be solved by flexible work schedules and finally recognizing that the 8h work day should become a thing of the past.
In this way, people would have much more time to live AND EXPERIENCE their life to the fullest. And mind you, I am complaining as an unmarried, childfree 28 year old. I cannot imagine how hectic day-to-day life can be for parents.
If I had a more flexible schedule, I would absolutely go for long, daily walks, cook more often instead of meal prepping constantly, pick up a few new hobbies and I would absolutely develop a better sleeping schedule.
But for now, outside of my imagination land, I would like to spend more time outside daily.
Love,
Luna
