Better life

Describe your life in an alternate universe.

Ah yes, a universe without capitalism and 9-5 jobs and money and greed. That would be a better world and a better life and I am honestly sick of the one I have in this universe. I am not even 30 and I cannot work anymore.

I think that in an alternate universe, I would like to take away a lot of the bullshit we deal with on Earth, starting with wars, famine, violence, patriarchy, organized religion, deadly diseases, dumb social standards etc. There would be no monetary system in place and we would live in peace and harmony. No status symbols, no rat race, no way to profit off human misery. It would funnily enough be a life that you lived just so you would live it, without having to chase anything.

The sad thing about all this is that you would need a world without humans to accomplish such a universe.

I don’t think the world is hopeless but it can feel discouraging sometimes

  2. In the book, The World Without Us, Allan Weisman explores that very thought. An eye-opener for anyone who wants to explore treading lightly on this planet.

  3. Loved This!!! Don’t know that you are describing a type of “Heaven or Nirvana” but it sounds wonderful – you conjured up a great place – but no humans? Ha! I loved that you included no religions!!!! Religious people with the love of money don’t realize that with no capitalism and everyone actually equal – heaven won’t be a place they would really like to live in! LOL!

  4. I believe a world like this exists. A world described in Jim Reeves’ song “Where We’ll Never Grow Old”
