Your life without a computer: what does it look like?
Considering the fact that I am a writer, without a computer I would have to go back to a typewriter. I own one, her name is Olivia and I use it to sometimes type my poetry. I don’t know if it’s because Olivia is a bit older, but it is difficult to typewrite and I think that if I tried to write a whole novel using Olivia, my fingers would be more callus than finger. But it would be a vibe to do something like that. I always enjoy using Olivia to write my poetry, there’s something so magical about it.
I have recently stumbled upon “typewriter” keyboards which are basically keyboards that look like a typewriter and have the same noises and functions but you can put your tablet instead of paper and use it to write. I have a little agreement with myself that I would get one of those when I finish the second part of The Stanhill Series. The only problem is that these keyboards are not cheap and, since they ship from US, I would probably have additional fees and charges to get it in Croatia.
I strayed from subject, just a little. Outside of my regular 9-5 job, I use my laptop only to write and if I am reading a e-book because I don’t have a Kindle. My laptop used to be on all the time when I lived in a place without a TV, but now I use it significantly less. Another important thing I use it for is my workouts. I usually follow some online program on YT for my weight trainings, so I would absolutely feel its absence in my fitness journey.
But once upon a time, when I was a kid, I lived without a computer or a phone and I survived. I would even say that my life was a bit better and my eyes hurt significantly less and I spent more time outside.
Love,
Luna

I love that your typewriter has a name. My laptop has a name too. It’s Suzanne
