There is 9000 followers on this blog and I am shocked. I never kept my eye on the follower count and I saw it this morning while scrolling through my notifications and I just wanted to thank you all so much for the love and the support.
When I started this blog, I never thought it would reach these numbers or become a community it has become and I am grateful for all of you who take time out of your day to read my posts and support this journey of mine.
That being said, a few years back when I hit a follower milestone I started The Poetry Bar which is basically a guest post type of thing where you can send in your work to have it published here on lunatheblog.com. The Poetry Bar is still up and running and if you would like to share your work on this blog you can send in your poem, a few words about yourself and a link to your blog and Instagram (if you have it) to poetrybar1@gmail.com

I was a patient and caring supporter and fellow poster on your Poetry Bar until my work and I became ignored, circuitously or not, when a bitter umbrage overtook that reality and not as a means to burst your delusional bubble but, in an effort, to remain authentic if to only myself I find your effrontery to misuse the term ‘us” so dishonestly.
How I keep getting reconnected to your site is a mystery to me… not really WordPress. After realizing my own paralogizing is what was permitting me to be objectified and mistreated in a growing imbalanced situation when you repeatedly abandoned many of your followers, myself included and stopped answering or even acknowledging our comments. I have on at least three occasions unfollowed you and only recall you liking one of my blog post over past few years. I wish you well either way.
I’m uncertain by what metric you’ve counted ”us” in your world. Albeit, you may still have sycophants that hang on your every word, and naively believing they’re personally appreciated by you, however I suspect many of “us” have long left you behind after you abandoned “us” or them and their blogs. Some of us dislike being narcissistically treated as a used toy or number you can tout about but worry not, I will unfollow you once again but by all means in you state of triggered anger rejection feel free to block me or even more foolishly, retort with some gratuitous justification that seeks further ingratiation from us and why we should continue to cosset you or your delusion any further.
I can see clearly now…
When it comes to my interactions with people on this blog (posts and email conversations) I will take the blame for not being the best blogger when it comes to replying to comments and asnwering all emails in a timely manner. I did abandon my blog almost entirely for more than a year because I was dealing with my private issues, which is no excuse of course, and it was never my intention to make anyone feel disrespected or ignored. This is an issue I have to work through to become a better blogger and thank you for pointing that out to me.
That being said, I will NOT allow anyone to call people who read this blog, as one-time readers or long-term subscribers, sycophants and I will not sit quietly while someone insults the intelligence and intentions of my readers. I am just another blogger on this platform and nobody is “hanging on to my every word”, they are just interacting with this blog and my posts as they want. Any issue you have with me, I am right here and you can take it up with me, but people who read this blog have done nothing to you and do not deserve this level of disrespect.
Moving the goal post and changing my premise? I never attacked any of your followers but thank you for proving my point. Once again, I wish you well.
