Poem #250

If you can’t talk to anyone else,
just tell it all to yourself.

The secrets and answers
were always in your head.

Write until your arm gets tired,
fill a blank canvas with color.

Express that beautiful mess
it’s enough if for you it makes sense.

Don’t let it pile up, don’t let it drag you down.
Scream it all into art, let your soul rest.

  1. I needed to read this today. I sometimes want to scream I have chronic pain in my body but no one understands or they tell me to get over it. Thank you for this 💕
