I don’t let the silence in
Don’t leave me alone to my thoughts
Left to my own devices
I spiral into a void
I aspire to be sedated
just drown out my own mind
push it to the bottom of the ocean
let the chaos be taken by the tide
Wasted days
sleepless nights
staring at blank walls
is my youth alive?
