Poem #354

I leave the tears on the pillow
I leave them safely confined
in the hell of my own home
and I put on a show.

The shell is smiling
the shell has a sense of humor
the shell keeps under control
the fire burning below

I exist in duality
what I show and what I am
maybe the show becomes reality
and I finally let go off this hope
that’s burning a hole in my soul.

Don’t forget that my first novel is available on Amazon: Little Rebellion
Also you can get my poetry books: Rehab and Identity crisis

  1. I think many of us can relate to this. Well expressed.
