Poem #358

The moon is my friend
I promise he will keep our secrets
That stolen moment in the parking lot
my handprint on the glass
it will all stay hidden in the night

We drove down the fast lane
chasing dreams and love caught up with us
Your hand was running up my thigh
while I was leaning through the window
singing Kings of Leon

I felt young
I felt alive
You were kissing every imperfection
mended every scar
The sunrise greeted us on the hood of the car
Your fingers in mine
I felt like I could touch the sky

Don’t forget that my first novel is available on Amazon: Little Rebellion
