Poem #357

He always opens up the blinds
as soon as he wakes up and
bathes in the sunlight even before 5AM.
His skin is always glowing in my eyes.

I drag my sleepy body to his,
kiss him right beneath his ear
and wonder how I could live without
the smell of his perfume in the morning.

My hand drags across his chest
he tilts his head back on my shoulder
with a wicked smile on his face.
Before I know it, he has me in this embrace
He loves to start the day reminding me that
every inch of my body is his.

Don’t forget that my first novel is available on Amazon: Little Rebellion
