Bodies

Some are burned and some are buried
others rise into the air..

Some are food for hungry buzzards
others just coyote fare..

Desert keep or forest deep
a pyre that burns beside a stream..

Every body must relinquish
form then wake into a dream..

Row and row and row your vessel
paddle well and merrily

Ferry for our spirit journey
sailing o’er the deep blue sea ~
